Our friends from Wenatchee, the Ottosen's, have a home in Kayenta. They invited us over for dinner and we always enjoy hanging out and chatting with them. As a special surprise, the family of Elder Almquist (isn't it funny how you don't know the first names of missionaries that you interacted with AS missionaries) and his parents were there also. Elder Almquist served in our ward in Wenatchee and I worked with him many times. It was great to get to know them. Gil Almquist is on the St. George City Council and we had an interesting discussion about several land use and water debates that are currently hot topics in the local press.
