Jones' Baby Blessing

Considering the condition Jones was in just a few short weeks ago, our miracle baby continued his great recovery and the family gathered on April 22nd to celebrate his Church blessing. Laurel and Mark put on quite a spread for everyone, as usual.

The Quick Turnaround

After Max's birth, I spent some time in Morgan working on taxes - I had to finish four sets of tax returns before April 17th. I drove home, arriving on April 7th, while KR stayed in Utah helping with the baby, visiting with the Dover's in Springville (there never is a dull moment there, as you can see by the picture), and attending a birthday party for Mom Anderton in Morgan on April 15th. KR flew home on April 18th.

Max

I drove from Morgan to Orem on April 3rd and arrived just in time to see the birth (actually I was in the room, but did not see it directly) of Max August Christensen. Grandma KR got a more closeup view. It was a beautiful spring day, as you can see in the picture. Everything went so well and KT was such a trooper. His most distinguishing feature - the mop of hair. It looked like a wig and just seemed to fit his given name.

Northern Utah

After closing on our new home and checking out of our rental, we headed north to visit with the girls and help out with the big event - the birth of Kyle & KT's first child. It was much anticipated, like the arrival of all of our grandchildren. Wow. I went up to Morgan to stay with Mom for a few days while KR helped out with the preparations for the hospital. These pics were taken shortly before the coming out party. She was ready. And apparently a prisoner at some unknown facility.
