Seattle Rock 'n' Roll Run

Straight from Girl's Camp, KR joined (June 24th-26th) her friends Marnie Herrick, Terri Wynder & Lisa Sauer in Seattle for their traditional run of only 21.097494 kilometers (makes me tired typing it). That is a half marathon for those keeping track. She clocked 3:10 in her knee brace (recovering from a torn MCL). Nice physical therapy technique. She said her knee actually quit hurting after the race and has not been much of a bother since.....so maybe it is a good physical therapy technique. Can you tell I like her a lot?

Is this Woman Really Almost on Social Security?

Girl's Camp

KR had her usual week (June 21st-25th) in the forest and was in the eye of the female tornado, as usual. The theme was "How the West was One" (very clever of those women). She was co-creator of the adult skit, among other things, and you can see her describing the stick-horse rodeo action.

The Seattle Grandkids Come to Visit

Ella, Will and Noah spent a week in Wenatchee in June. Between the hours they spent in the sun swimming (notice the raccoon eyes from the goggles), cycling with Grandma, dressing one another up in the wildest outfits, and whatever else their imaginations could come up with, I think we wore them out.....well, maybe they wore us out. The "wanted" poster was found on telephone poles around Wenatchee for weeks after their visit.

Year of the Graduate

First KT, now Jon......this is turning into the Year of the Graduate. I even think I had a fortune cookie recently that was right on point. But seriously, congrats Jon. You are a good man and a fine son. Now you also have an MBA. Does he look any smarter?

Spring Baseball

It brings back old memories of spending hours watching our sons play baseball and softball. Will and Emmett both had loads of fun playing baseball this spring and we enjoyed watching them when we could make it to the games. They are such good young men and we love them dearly.
