Kyle and Katie

It is said that the best things in life involve family. This one was spectacular. It is also said that a picture says a thousand words. Here are some to enjoy. We had a great wedding, nice receptions in Salt Lake, Vancouver and Wenatchee, and created a thousand memories - from the photo booth, to the candy containers, to the snow and sleet - but in retrospect, it couldn't have been better any other way. And we now have a whole new branch of our family. Welcome to the Anderton clan, Kyle. Our core family is now complete.

The Best Hotdogs I Ever Had

We had a fun day doing service at the Ensign Ranch getting it ready for Girl's Camp. Emmett went with us and was a great worker. He also like the hot dogs. According to Emmett, they were the "best hot dogs I ever had". My kind of guy.

Sister Rosa Margarita Maldonaldo

We had a great visit from Hermana Maldonado, one of our favorite missionary sisters in Honduras. We enjoyed all of her help and enthusiasm. It is one of the highlights of our life to see these young men and women take their places in society and in the Church.

Voles

Living next to orchards, we have always had a vole problem. They come into our yard during the winter snows and we spend all summer keeping them under control. I have written a poem for them:

Your little trails, so winding and trimmed,
In my beloved lawn, that I try to keep primmed,
I know you have been created, to keep me humble,
But by my many devious methods, I will make your world crumble.
