We then headed south to Ulm (10 miles) and got off to see Ulm Pushkin, one of the most famous of the buffalo jumps. We were a little early for the opening, but fortunately could drive up and see the jump itself. They have plenty of signage at the site, so the visitor's center was actually not necessary. It was COLD, but so quiet and peaceful. And beautiful. I am glad that we got off to check it out. I had to be careful at the edge, so as to not meet the same fate as the buffalo. It was snowy and slippery. Very awe-inspiring for a meat-eater like me.
When we made the passage from Helena to Great Falls last night, it was dark, so this time, as we went in the other direction, we were able to enjoy this wonderful area. What beautiful country. Here Miniarms enjoys the view down to Gates of the Mountains, so dubbed by Meriwether Lewis as he ascended the Missouri southward (upstream).
We made good time after leaving Helena behind, following I-15 down through Butte, Dillon, crossing the Continental Divide twice, and into Idaho. We made a short stop in Rexburg to check on KT's housing for next semester, then to Logan through Preston, arriving in the early evening. It was great to see KT again and she looks happy and contented. We got the tour of Ryan and Jaimilyn's very cute house (which they are in the process of selling) and went out for some yummy pizza with them and their very cute children (everything is cute in Logan). A long day. You know, every T-Rex needs a good mate....and now for the rest of the story. You know that place in Spokane. Yes, you guessed it, KR bought an Incredibles' costume. KT went into the bathroom to freshen up and we quickly got KR into the outfit - this was what she saw when she emerged .
