A Long Travel Day to DC

We were up early and drove to Seattle. Cher helped us out, as we drove to their place and parked our car for the duration of our trip. She and the kids then drove us to the airport, with a short stop at IKEA. Since we were using free mileage tickets, KR flew on Northwest and I went on Alaska. She went earlier, but had a layover in Chicago, while I went non-stop to Reagan International, so I got in a bit earlier and waited for my cell phone to ring. Problem: there are two terminals at Reagan. Northwest has gates at the old terminal and Alaska at the new one. But the hotel shuttle driver finally figured it all out and we were reunited. The hotel was just a few minutes from the hotel - very convenient.
