Journey to the Holy Land

With the events unfolding in Egypt and Tunisia (and where next is any one's guess), it is timely to post regarding our recent trip to the Middle East (November 3-29). Many of the places we are hearing about in the news we visited just weeks ago. In a way, we are grateful we took the opportunity when we did - who knows how tourism to Jordan, Israel, and Egypt are going to be affected by the current unrest. We loved the trip and hope that peace returns soon to these fascinating lands. We did get a little carried away with the many places we visited and took over 7000 digital images - but I have managed to cull the ones we kept down to a "manageable" 3000. No, I have not put them all on here, but just a taste.
