I took a little two-day round trip up into the Northeast corner of Washington while KR was hosting a Relief Society birthday celebration. It was a part of Washington I had not been to before and is actually quite spectacular. North of Creston and Wilbur, Roosevelt Lake behind the Grand Coulee Dam swings to the north. Lake Roosevelt is known for its house boating. I spent some time at old Fort Spokane at the confluence of the Columbia and Spokane Rivers, near Hunter, Washington. Very pretty spot.
