Catrachos Otra Vez - Central America I

This particular trip has been in our mind's eye for many years. Ever since we left Honduras in 2002, we have followed the progress of the Church there and, in particular, the completion and dedication dates of Honduras' first temple. When one was announced, we were ecstatic, but as time went on and the temple's progress came to a stop and then proceeded slowly, we watched with great interest. We knew what this temple would mean to the members in Honduras. We also planned to attend the dedication together. I had returned twice to Honduras with a charitable organization prior to 2013, but KR and KT had never been back. Even when I had returned, I was too busy to actually visit all of the areas and chat with all of our friends where we had worked. As a result, we were apprehensive about what had really happened in the 11 years since our departure. We would soon find out.
